OSHA Stickers
The OSHA standard has been the law of the land for safety around your waste containers for many years. A part of the Department of Labor, the acronym stands for Occupational Safety and Health Administration. A law forming the entity in 1970, set them in charge of developing mandatory job safety and health standards. This OSHA standard creates a method to call out hazards using container safety decals. That is to say make the work environment safe for both your employees and those of your customers. Certainly still important, a newer ANSI standard now leads the drive for safety.
Container safety decals following the OSHA standard call out hazards. Their large heading informs those reading the label upfront the severity of the hazard. For instance DANGER means that there is an immediate risk of serious injury or death. Meanwhile CAUTION states that there is a potential hazard related to unsafe actions or lesser injury. NOTICE states a hazard related to equipment or property damage and does not include a threat of personal injury.
